“Reducing The Cost Of Hearing Aids”

The key to our unique pricing structure is, UN-BUNDLING the product. Throughout the years hearing aid retailers have been building the costs of many phases of their operation into the retail cost of their product and then giving this added expense a fancy name to justify it. This fancy name is “Lifetime Care”. This term states that the purchaser will receive lifetime care on their instruments at no cost to them. When in reality, they have already paid for this care and then some. Let’s take a closer look.

The cost of an average retail hearing aid from a big box manufacturer includes expenses such as, the costs of Full Page advertising campaigns, the costs of telemarketing services, the costs of the lifetime care of the purchasers instruments and the costs of  commissions paid to the salesperson, just to name a few. These, as well as other costs are Bundled into the price of each hearing aid.

At Solutions Hearing, we have simply stripped away most of these added costs and in doing so have greatly reduced the average price of our hearing instruments. We do not partake in massive and expensive Full Page advertising campaigns. We do not employ the use of telemarketers, nor do we provide our patients with free lifetime care. After all, we now know it is not free at all. 

By UN-BUNDLING these costs we have reduced our prices by 20%-35% on average, depending on the level of technology. Today, our patients gladly pay a modest co-pay for the routine care and maintenance they receive on their instruments. Let’s look at an example.
